In dem Falle, dass man es laut haben möchte, fährt man ein paar Stationen und ist schon am Alexanderplatz oder im Herzen von entweder PBerg oder Friedrichshain. I'm a Texan, living in Europe for 21+ years now. My husband is Luis, a Spaniard. This place is great for a single person or a couple. All of the windows and the balcony face south, so there's a lot of light, but blinds in every window to keep the summer heat to a minimum. After buying the apartment, I ripped a few walls out, creating an open kitchen. The queen bed is very comfortable. Huge closet. Giant sofa with a projector (essentially a private home cinema). Everything is here. You basically bring your suitcase and you're good to go. It is excellently located: surrounded by parks and surprisingly peaceful right in the middle of the wild city. If you're looking for that wilder side of Berlin, it's a matter of 3-4 stops away in any direction and you're in several of the hottest spots: Kreuzberg, Friedrichshain, Prenzlauer Berg, Alexanderplatz, Mitte. The Bus 200, 2 trams (M10 and M4) and the Ring S-Bahn around the city are all very accessible, creating a slew of possibilities when it comes to public transport. If you drive, there are loads of parking options around. We absolutely love where we live and you will, too, I'm guessing. Shane and Luis _____________________________________________________________________________ Y finalmente: Hola a los hispanohablantes! Por dónde empezar? Me llamo Shane. Soy de Texas y llevo más que 21 años aquí. Mi marido se llama Luis -- es español, de La Rioja. Tenemos un buen piso! Casi todas las renovaciones las hice yo con mucha atención. El balcón y todas las ventanas están ubicados al sur, o sea que es todo bien inundado por luz natural. Hay persianas en cada ventana para reducir el calor de verano. También hay ventiladores. Hasta dos personas encajarían fácilmente bien aquí. El piso es bastante abierto gracias al haber removido unas paredes para crear una cocina americana abierta. Está extremadamente bien ubicado y comunicado: hay parques a todos lados y está tranquilo a pesar de estar por el medio de la ciudad(!). Se tiene acceso al M10, M4, Bus 200 y el Ringbahn (el metro circular por la parte más central de Berlín - zona A). Dentro de unas 4 paradas en cualquiera dirección, estaréis en las partes más populares de la ciudad: Prenzlauer Berg, Friedrichshain, Alexanderplatz, Mitte. Por si acaso que estéis buscando la parte "loca" de la ciudad/llena de fiesta, no habrá que ir lejos :) Pero aquí directamente por el piso: tranquilidad. Queremos mucho dónde vivimos (porque es genial) y probablemente os vaya a gustar también. Ya hay de TODO aquí dentro: Buen colchón, súper comfortable. Cocina moderna.
