Lagebeschreibung
The Gartenstadt district lies south-east of the city centre, and is an excellent, sought-after residential area, where it is sometimes apparent how the area's structure has developed over the years. To the south of the B1 main road you will find developments of detached houses with large grounds, dating from the turn of the 20th century and the 1930s. But pleasant residential areas, enjoying a location near the city centre, can also be found to the north of the B1. The underground rail station from which you can reach the city centre/main rail station and the Aplerbeck area of Dortmund is around five minutes' walk away.
